As you might have heard, there is going to be an Emergency Budget statement in Britain later today. The Chancelleor, George Osborne said on a BBc intereview that ‘.. Britain looks itself in the face and says “We are going to deal with the bills of the past and plan for a brighter future”‘. He also revealed that he has a five-year plan to drag Britain out of the red.
Now that’s a wise man; who knows this situation cannot be fixed overnight and that the process will be a little painful – to say the least.
A government’s financial woes is easy to be seen by everyone but what about families and individuals who are so deep in debt that they’ve lost hope of ever coming outof it; yet they still carry on in a ‘business as usual’ way. It is time to stop and take some radical steps.
Half of the year 2010 is almost gone, has your financial situation improved or deteriorated since January? If things haven’t gone the way your wished maybe it is time to stop blaming people (or circumstances), turn away from those TV reality shows, make an Emergency Budget for yourself in an attempt to turn your financial situations around.
You need to know that a goal without a plan is just a wish. Your budget is like you saying to your money “who are you and where do you think you’re going”. You then name every pound or dollar and tell them where to go instead of wondering where they went.
