Any time i witness someone’s dreams come true, i go into an celebratory mode. After all, we are supposed to “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn” – Romans 12:15
This afternoon, my wife and i attended the Launching of a 10-track album of our friend- Yemi Amos. I have known her as a singer for over 8 years but there is a difference in singing only in your church where everybody pats you on the back all the time and exposing yourself to the world where they take no prisoners. It takes guts to step out in faith doing what you are created for.
I can imagine she had a similar feeling i had when i became a first-time author; you”ll just know that things won’t ever be the same again. At least by the end of this year, Yemi can look back with satisfaction that she has become a Recording Artist. Get the album or sample the individual tracks here.
