NLBC Worship Day 2010

2

Welcome back to Money Management Tips. I just though you might to know that i have now added incestives for the people that leave useful comments both for me and other readers. Thanks for visiting!

Every year on the last Sunday of March, my home church New Life Bible Church (NLBC) has a special service of nothing but Worship. The service is usually conducted by the Worship Team – obviously.

Yesterday was such a day and what a day it was!!. You see, worship time is a time when who or what you are are all put aside. At the moment the only Person that matters is the object of your worship and in our case, that is The Lord God Almighty – the Creator of heaven and earth.

I have been part of Worship time for almost 2 decades, and the Music Director for the last several years; I had the opportunity to bring the message of the day which i entitled “Obedience – An Expression of Worship”.  I encouraged the congregation not to just worship God in words but action in their day-to-day living.

The Worship Team did not just sing, they ministered with everything they’ve got in several songs which will make people never to forgat the day.

My Money Management Coaching, speaking or writing  will always take second place where God is concerned. The life i have will mean nothing, if the hand of God had not been on it.

Your statement “My Money Management Coaching, speaking or writing will always take second place where God is concerned” blew my mind sir; You had reminded me of the master worshipper King DAVID – I wish every believers could emulate this.

    • Thank you Brother John for your comments.
I always remind myself that without God i am nothing. Which means that all i am, do now or will ever be is by the grace of God. I am just of the opinion that if i put God first, i (in Him) will never come in second. God honours those who honour Him.
