Its Sunday and i’ve been to Church – which was a miracle in itself for the fact that i had a bad fall on an icy pavement on Friday hurting my head, back and neck. I’m OK now though and all the glory belong to God.
Today we had the pleasure of having our friend, the world-reknowned Christian musician – Panam Percy Paul from Nigeria – minister to us at the service.
During his music ministration, Panam made mention of ‘The Apostles’ Creed’ – you know – “I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit …….”. He said he had to add another “belief“ – that is the belief in himself. In essence he was talking about the believe in the fact you are able to carry out the purpose for God creating you.
Destiny, he said, is about originality. You may be destined to be an answer to someone else’s problem. Believe that you can and then aim to fulfil your destiny here on earth. If you have been born unique, why should you settle for dying as a copy?
I know Panam is a great musician but he also has the Word of God in him and words of wisdom too. His ministration today was just a confirmation what i have had in my mind all of last week.
No matter what people have been saying about you, just remember that nobody’s opinion is God’s conclusion concerning your life.
Have a blessed week,
